A Case of Urticaria: Early Experiences with Quantum-Touch in Practice

Urticaria (Nettle) Fever

This case was my first experience working with Quantum-Touch after completing Level 1 training in 2019.

The client was a man who had been diagnosed by his doctor with Urticaria (Nesselsucht). His symptoms included a cold, persistent cough, skin irritation and periods of unusually aggressive behaviour. Medication had been prescribed to manage the reaction, but the symptoms continued.

At the time, I was still learning how to apply Quantum-Touch with confidence. Each session began without expectation. The aim was simple: provide calm, focused attention, maintain a clear intention for the client’s well-being, and allow the body to respond in its own way.

Session One: Addressing the Immediate Symptoms

We worked first on the cold and the visible skin irritation. The session lasted around 30 minutes. Two days later, the cold had resolved, but the cough intensified and the skin irritation worsened. This was the point I realised I needed to move beyond symptom-based work.

Session Two: Working with the Immune System

The second session focused on the immune system rather than individual symptoms. It lasted an hour and twenty-five minutes. My hand positions shifted continually to follow the structures and organs associated with immune function. I noticed significant swelling in my hands during the session, something I had experienced years earlier while working in clinical physiotherapy environments.

The client, however, felt very little. This contrast was not unusual in early practice, but it prompted me to deepen my understanding of how energy builds and moves during sustained work.

A Practical Note

After that session, an unexpected technical issue occurred: my laptop would repeatedly turn off when I touched it, yet function normally when handled by someone else. Although unusual, I noted it as part of the early learning curve, not as a conclusion, simply an observation of how energy works, sometimes presents in practice.

Session Three: Release and Stabilisation

By the third session, the swelling in my hands no longer occurred. I intuitively incorporated more conscious breathing techniques, which I later learnt were essential for managing the build-up of energy during long treatments.

Within days, we realised the client’s symptoms had settled. The cold and cough had resolved. His behaviour had stabilised. The skin irritation has reduced to occasional, minor flare-ups, typically two or three marks on an arm or leg once a month. His medication would ordinarily have required a longer period to become fully effective, yet his overall condition had eased sooner.

What This Case Taught Me

This experience helped shape the way I understand Quantum-Touch today. Not as a replacement for medical care, and not as a promise of transformation, but as a supportive modality that can encourage the body towards ease, recovery and regulation.

The improvement in this case was meaningful. It taught me the value of presence, intention and patience, and it highlighted how responsive the body can be when given the right conditions.

Quantum-Touch remains part of my work, integrated quietly and respectfully within my private practice. It offers clients a non-invasive, supportive way to settle the body during periods of stress, discomfort or recovery.
